The recent holidays probably seem a long time ago to most of us!  However, the IAM Team are hard at work on activities and events that promise to make 2011 an interesting year. 

We shall be launching the Members Conference for early bird bookings in February - and we shall email you to alert you when the reservations can be made online.   The dates are 20/21 June with an optional Workshop on 22nd about Qualifications.

Meanwhile, in order to finalise the programme, we would welcome any final offers from volunteers who would like to present a paper or workshop session.

If you are having difficulty, please see if these steps help:

• Your bookmark may need updating in some browsers (you may have seen Error404).  Type in www.theIAM.org and re-save it.
• We are aware that IE6 seems to freeze - but it should work eventually if you let it.  This is not satisfactory and a technical solution is being developed.
• Your login details have not changed - but try the lost password procedure if you don't know it!  Your account name is your usual email address in full.

CALL FOR PAPERS -  see website listing for details

The joint IAM & IET Asset Management Conference 2011 will provide you with the platform to have your say, promote your work, theories and case studies. We are pleased to announce the call for papers for the Asset Management conference 2011.

Successful authors will have the opportunity to present their work at a one of a kind call for papers conference dedicated to the area of asset management and have their final paper published in the conference proceedings and indexed by IET Inspec and IEEE Xplore.

We were hoping to announce the details of our new (framed or unframed) Certificates Service in this Newsletter.  However, we shall publish details of the designs and process as soon as we can.  They will be sent by tracked delivery and the framed ones are sent in robust packaging and guaranteed by the supplier against breakage. 

The certificates are A4 for both Corporate and Individual categories and there are two designs of frame.  Prices are likely to be £10 unframed and £25 framed - including all taxes and delivery.
