NxtGen "Talk from the Top" 4 : High Speed 2
NxtGen is the IAM’s network for students, young professionals and those new to asset management. We meet socially regularly and our gatherings are welcoming, informal and fun. They are a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and learn more about asset management and the work of the IAM.
The typical format of NxtGen social events is to have a two hour drinks reception punctuated by a 10 minute talk from whoever interesting is in town. In addition to our regular social meetings we will be hosting professional development and asset management career support events to NxtGen Plus members.

NxtGen – Membership
We want to encourage as many people as possible to join the NxtGen and learn more about the dynamic world of asset management. Therefore, social membership of NxtGen is open to all – the only requirement is that you become an affiliate of the IAM. Social membership is free for 12 months and entitles members to attend our regular social events and meetings. We hope it will introduce, and stimulate interest in, asset management to a new audience who will be inspired to lead the NxtGen of asset management thinking.
Of course, if you are already aware of the exciting career and business opportunities that the world of asset management holds you may now be hoping to develop your skills as an asset management professional. If you upgrade IAM membership category from an affiliate to either a student, associate or full individual member you will automatically be entitled to attend the NxtGen Plus professional development events which will provide support and guidance for individuals seeking to gain professional qualifications and progress their careers in asset management. NxtGen Plus members are, of course, still entitled to attend all the fun social NxtGen events as well!
