IAM Annual Lecture 2010

James is on secondment from Partnerships UK, where he was Chief Executive for the previous nine years. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Partnerships for Schools and Sport England and he acts as an independent member of the Crossrail Sponsor Board.
Previously, James was Head of Newcourt Capital’s project finance team in London. Prior to joining Newcourt Capital, he was Managing Director of Project Finance and the Global Head of Infrastructure and Environment with Société Générale (SG) in London.

Chief Executive, Infrastructure UK
James is the Chief Executive of Infrastructure UK, a new body announced in the Pre-Budget Report of December 2009, which will act as the focal point for the UK’s infrastructure strategy, financing, development and delivery.
Once again we are fortunate to have an extremely topical Lecture, given the publication a few days earlier of the Goverment's National Infrastructure Plan and the results of the Spending Review due on 20th October.
The Lecture will include a Question & Answer session.
Steve Holliday, our previously advertised speaker is not able to deliver the Annual Lecture this year owing to over-riding business commitments but hopes to do so on another occasion.
The Annual Lecture is one of the flagship events in the IAM's calendar and is open to all. It is a chance to engage with both the subject and people involved in managing assets. Admission is free but tickets are required! You are encouraged to invite colleagues and acquaintances and introduce them to the subject and our Institute.
Afterwards, the IAM Annual Dinner is again being held at the impressive Riverside Room at Savoy Place. The Dinner commences at 8pm following a Drinks Reception at 7.30pm. See separate entry
