the professional body for
whole life management of physical assets
22 November 2017
The Annual Lecture took place on 21 November 2017, in London, on the first evening of the two-day IAM Asset Management Conference. The Lecture attracted great interest and was fully booked a week prior to the event.
In his hour-long talk, Sir John Armitt focused on the impact of management and maintenance for the long-term benefits of capital investment. Drawing on his own experience, he discussed the importance of the tasks of Government, the regulators, and asset owners in ensuring resilience and the avoidance of negative headlines during asset life cycles.
The Annual Lecture was very well received with enthusiastic feedback from those that attended. Thank you to the IAM Annual Lecture 2017 sponsor, AMCL.
