Annual Lecture and Dinner 2011
As we enter autumn, our thoughts turn to the IAM's Flagship Event, the Annual Dinner and Lecture 2011. DON'T MISS OUT ON OUR EARLY BIRD PRICES ENDING THIS WEEK.
Combined with the Asset Management Conference, it's a fine way to discuss the year's progress, set sights high for the year ahead and network with the senior asset management community. We are privileged to have Mr Robert Napier CBE giving the Annual Lecture and the content of the Conference is very high quality and relevant.
Given the broadness and depth of the Asset Management community, having industry leading figures and good practitioners together is an excellent opportunity to learn, debate and forge new working relations.
For more details about the speaker and the conference, or to make a reservation, please click here.
Wiki - Knowledge Centre
If knowledge really is power then the IAM's Knowledge Centre should become a vital resource for you. The Wiki based 'Knowledge Centre' is now online and ready for your visit (you have access as soon as you login to the website).
We also hope you will contribute - both writing new pages or uploading relevant and interesting material - or helping (and challenging) what we all perceive as good practice.
Our objectives are to give people with a platform to host and share this information, to generate discussion not only between key figures but across companies, business areas and geographical regions.
Visit the Knowledge Centre today - and tell us what you think too.
Certificates - for Corporate Members too!
Many of you purchased Individual Membership Certificates, following my reminder last month - thank you. We have had nothing but good feedback but please do always let us know if you're not entirely happy with our services.
Just a reminder that we also encourage Corporate Members to display Membership Certificates in relevant places - these can be ordered from the Office.

and finally...
We have been working with our suppliers to improve the performance of our website for those still using Internet Explorer 6. Testing has shown that although the site can load slowly, it does work (if not appearing quite as glossy and impressive as it does with modern browsers). If there is anything you can do to persuade your IT departments to move on to IE7 8 or 9 or use another browser, it would be much appreciated! HOWEVER, if there are still problems, we do want to know about them, so please let us know.
We are planning a new section for the website to help you access not only additional content but connect you easily to the debates going on in our LinkedIn Group and so forth. Please do join and encourage others to join the IAM LinkedIn Group too, even if they are not IAM Members.
We are nearly ready to present some of the pages in other languages. If you are willing and able to translate some of our pages, we would be very glad to hear from you!
