The IAM as a professional institution may from time to time desire to make public statements or may be consulted by the media, including the technical press, upon topics of substance relevant to asset management.
Over a period of time, the IAM may capture its considered views in a series of Position Statements. Some of these may, in due course, be overtaken by more formal publications. The current ones may be downloaded from the right hand column.
It is likely that these will fall into one of several categories:
- We are directly asked to express a view on a specific topic
- We become aware of a specific opportunity to make our views known
- We wish to make our views and available in any case.
In order that any Position Statement issued on behalf of the IAM is, and can be seen to be, independent of any vested interest or buyers whether commercial, technical or philosophical, all such Statements are issued after review by Council.
