The professional body for whole life management of physical assets

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The Annual General Meeting of the Institute of Asset Management is the formal process by which the IAM allows its Voting Members to manage the affairs of the Institute.  Any Voting Member is entitled to question the Board and Chief Executive as they submit the Annual Report covering both the finances and activities of the IAM.

The AGM is open to all members.  The IAM welcomes others to the AGM, although there is no entitlement to access.

The AGM is traditionally held during the Annual Conference before the Conference Dinner. Voting Members who cannot attend are entitled to appoint Proxies and, when possible, the AGM will be webcast live.  Members who wish to attend but are not Conference delegates are welcome.

Chapters of the IAM hold their own AGMs beforehand, ideally in the first quarter of each year.  The AGM of the Institute of Asset Management will report the outcomes of those Chapter meetings so that Voting Members can be confident that all parts of the Institute are being governed satisfactorily.

Next AGM

Notice is hereby given that the AGM of the Institute of Asset Management will take place at 17h30 on 27th June, 2017, Hilton, 303 Deansgate, Manchester M3 4LQ, during the Annual Conference.
