IAM knowledge projects aim to build on the IAM Knowledge Base and develop different aspects of the asset management discipline. The IAM often produces knowledge in collaboration with industry professionals, professional bodies and other organisations.
Our major completed projects include shaping professional standards PAS 55 and ISO 55000.
Committed volunteer contributors are key to the success of IAM projects. In turn, these projects help meet our core objectives to develop IAM knowledge and related Learning Society activities. Our current projects are listed below.
Subject Specific Guidelines (SSGs)
The SSGs are in production, building on the description of asset management in the IAM Anatomy. They cover the publication’s 39 Subjects which constitute key areas of consideration for asset management professionals and organisations.
