We are only a week away from our Annual Lecture and Dinner. The Annual Dinner has been sold-out for some weeks now. Thank you for your support.
You are still very welcome to attend the Annual Lecture and drinks reception. This is free of charge but admission is based on reservations, so please book as soon as you can to help us cater for you properly.
Don't forget that this is deliberately combined with the Asset Management Conference, giving you an excellent two-day series of events. If you wish to book for this Joint TPN event, please do so quickly. Some of the sessions have had to be moved to bigger rooms owing to popularity but they will sell out!

You may know that we have belonged to the European Federation of National Maintenance Societies (EFNMS) for many years. At their last General Assembly on 19th Nov the representatives agreed unanimously to change the scope and constitution to encompass Asset Management and to encourage any eligible association to join (until now this has been limited to one per country). Subject to formal voting, this will be implemented in May 2012.
Please note that Euromaintenance 2012 is in the beautiful city of Belgrade 14 -16 May 2012 and I would encourage you to consider participating.
If anyone has been wondering why the currrent edition of Assets magazine is not on our website, I can only apologise (there has been a hiccup with our normal supplier). It is now available for you to read online.
I am glad to tell you that, following requests from some of you, the whole magazine will in future be read using a page-turning' app - as well as keeping the individual articles available to read or download for printing as before. We shall be extending this feature to our archive as soon as we can. This is part of a project to enhance the look and fuctionality of Assets magazine area.

We are gathering contact details for anyone interested - without commitment. You do not have a be a Member of the IAM but if you are not, obviously, you need to register with us and accept our Code of Conduct.

Dates for your Diary
30 Nov - 1 Dec 2011 - The Asset Management Conference 2011 London: Savoy Place
Annual Conference 2012
It is a little early to promote this event but we have been getting quite a few enquiries already. Our Annual Conference takes place between18th and 20th June 2012. Further details will appear in due course here on our website.
Please add these dates to your diary and, if you definitely intend to be with us, feel free to add yourself to our list - which will ensure you have access to Early Bird discount (if we make this available).
I have tried to keep this short but, as you can see, it is a busy time! I just want to mention that we shall be asking for volunteers to help participate in and deliver our expanding range of activities and projects. This is planned for 2012 but we may be able to send out this invitation in December.
Roles vary from membership of Committees to technical work and peer review of our knowledge centre / publications to participating in one or more projects. Although some appointments require knowledge of asset management topics, others require organising ability and the commitment of a little of your time.
As ever, what you get out of the IAM will be greatly enhanced by the time you give. Please have a think about what might interest you and whether you want to get involved - and then respond to our invitation!
