This page can be used by an individual to enrol themself for an IAM Qualification, or by somebody to enrol others for an IAM Qualification.
Please note: The IAM Certificate and IAM Diploma are NOT training courses. They are Qualifications awarded to those who are successful in the related IAM Examinations.
There are no pre-set entry requirements to enrol for one of the Qualifications (e.g. a first degree). Candidates also do not have to be a Member of the IAM - they just need to registered on the IAM website.
When an individual enrols him or herself for an exam, and has paid the fee for the Qualification, an electronic voucher is issued to their IAM record. As part of enrolling, an individual needs to provide the IAM with some basic details about themself, which helps the IAM to arrange access to a suitable IAM Examination Venue.
Organisations can purchase blocks of vouchers for individuals to sit an examination.
Once an individual has been enrolled, they will be sent more information and will also have access to some example questions. This enables them to become familiar with the exam system before sitting the real exam, as well as being shown the style and content of questions. Enroling also enables;
- candidates to engage in the IAM’s professional development activities, and
- the IAM to inform prospective candidates of changes, or other news, related to the Qualifications and Examinations.
To enrol yourself:
To enrol someone else, or to enrol more than one person:
When you are ready to take the exam you book an exam session at an IAM approved Exam Venue (you ‘spend’ your Exam voucher). You may book your exam quite some time after you enrol – perhaps because you are still learning.
