Eng. Kenedy Muhairwe - Vice Chairperson

Eng. Kenedy Muhairwe is a Ugandan-registered civil engineer currently working with the Uganda National Oil Company Limited through UNOCTech, its technical services arm, supporting projects across the oil and gas value chain.

He is a Member of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers (MUIPE) and a Registered Engineer (R.Eng) with the Engineers Registration Board.

With a BSc in Civil Engineering from Makerere University, Eng. Kenedy brings more than nine years of professional experience across Uganda and South Sudan. His technical experience covers water supply, roads, municipal infrastructure, mining, and oil and gas under projects including the Bududa-Nabweya Gravity Flow Scheme, including its intake and water treatment plant; the Pallisa-Kumi and Tirinyi roads under UNRA; municipal roads and water and wastewater infrastructure; mining developments, including graphite mining infrastructure in Oromia; and major oil and gas projects, including Tilenga enabling infrastructure and upstream facilities.

Across these assignments, Eng. Kenedy developed expertise in engineering design, technical reviews, risk management, multidisciplinary coordination, contract and procurement processes, and the delivery of complex infrastructure and operational assets. Working across different sectors and project stages has strengthened his appreciation of how decisions made during planning and design influence construction, maintainability, operational performance, risk, and long-term value.
