Asset Management Denmark is hosting its annual conference on Thursday, 24 September 2026 at Scandic CPH Strandpark in Kastrup, Copenhagen.

Under the theme "From Strategy to Practice", the conference addresses a central challenge in asset management: how do you bring strategy to life in day-to-day operations? The event brings together practitioners, managers and subject matter experts for a day of knowledge sharing, hands-on presentations and professional networking.

The programme includes:

• Two keynote presentations for all participants
• Two rounds of parallel sessions, where attendees choose their own track — expert presentations, company case studies or hot seat formats
• Closing networking session

Keynote Speakers

Cerius-Radius and Nexel will share their experience translating long-term forecasts into concrete investments and organisational change in the expansion of the Eastern Danish power grid. Henrik Dresbøll, behavioural designer and author, will speak on micro-changes — the small, repeated actions that bridge the gap between strategy and everyday practice.

Breakout Sessions

Lucas Peter Høj Brasen from Banedanmark presents his PhD research on digitalisation and agile methods in asset management. Kia Kjær from Energinet shares experience using audit as a management tool rather than just a compliance requirement. Speakers from Keolis, Copenhagen Airport contribute company-level perspectives and VEKS and the Danish Building and Property Agency joins the hot seat session with real cases.

The day will be hosted by Katja Damkier Hansen, journalist and presenter from TV2 News.

Evening Event 

On the evening before the conference, Wednesday 23 September from approx. 17:30, attendees are invited to networking, dinner and a presentation by Lykke Friis, Director of the EUROPA think tank, on the geopolitical and European dynamics shaping the context for asset management work.
