The Austin IAM Branch meets quarterly to bring together a range of local and national agencies and private sector representatives, united in our commitment to improving infrastructure outcomes through asset management.

In this 8^th branch meeting, we will be hearing from the Global President of the IAM about developments in the IAM’s asset management maturity models, and from Austin-branch Committee Members about their own asset management journeys within their organizations. We will invite attendees to share reflections on where they feel they are positioned along the maturity scale that we will be learning about in the first part of the meeting, to contribute to a lively and valuable discussion through peer exchange.

The IAM’s Asset Management Maturity Model helps organizations assess and enhance their asset management capabilities through a structured framework that aligns with ISO 55001 standards. It provides a framework for organizations to evaluate their asset management practices and identify areas for improvement. Developed by the Institute of Asset Management (IAM), this model has evolved over the years to reflect best practices and the changing landscape of asset management. It emphasizes a journey of continuous improvement, guiding organizations from basic competency to excellence in asset management.
