This in-person event for the NxtGen community presents an opportunity to foster connections, enhance collaboration, and create a vibrant atmosphere for learning and networking. The NxtGen network is for individuals new to asset management, including students, early-career professionals, and those transitioning from other fields. This social gathering will provide you with an opportunity to build connections in an informal environment, with likeminded professionals.

Take the opportunity to meet NxtGen asset management colleagues from different organisations as we learn from each other, enjoy a drink* (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) & optional social activities at the venue.

*Two drink vouchers will be provided on arrival to registered guests and are subject to availability and UK chapter guidelines. Light snacks will be provided during the evening.

Agenda

18:30 – Guest Arrival & Informal Welcome

• Attendees are welcomed upon arrival and invited to collect a and a drink.
• Casual introductions to create a relaxed and sociable atmosphere.

18:45 – Introduction to NxtGen

• A brief, informal welcome from the organiser to thank attendees for joining.
• NxtGen Committee members interact 1:1 with attendees and provide an overview of the IAM NxtGen community, its purpose, and how it supports early career professionals in asset management.
• Further re-iterating the outline of the evening’s aim: to foster connections, encourage knowledge-sharing, and build a sense of community in a relaxed setting.

19:00 – Open Networking & Social Activities

• Unstructured time for attendees to engage in conversation, share experiences, and build connections.
• Optional participation in casual games available at the venue (e.g., pool, darts, table football).

• Invitation to join the NxtGen mailing list and provide feedback via QR code/link through a post-event email.

21:00 – Event Close

    • Formal close of the event, with the option for attendees to remain and continue informal networking at their leisure.
