Presentation #1: Asset Management Application: “Resources from the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals and Other Organizations”

Asset management has a wide variety of applications and significant guidance is available.  The guidance fits into two major bins: how to build the AM program to meeting industry standards, and how to apply that guidance to individual projects.  As part of the SMRP / IAM agreement, members of the IAM can review SMRP guidance that might be useful both in the asset management space as well as in general maintenance and reliability areas.  This presentation will discuss the SMRP guidance, guidance available from other organizations, as well as some case study summaries. 

Presentation #2: “Incorporating AM Tools & Principles into the Capital Planning Process”

This presentation will describe the processes Metropolitan Milwaukie Sewerage District uses to identify assets and asset systems that require capital improvements. It will cover the tools we use to analyze asset data, assess project risk and assist with prioritization of investments.
