Jeff Morrison
Jeff Morrison has served as Executive Director of the Canadian Housing and Renewal Association since January 2016. Before joining CHRA, Jeff has also served as Director of Government Relations and Public Affairs with the Canadian Pharmacists Association, President of the Association of Canadian Engineering Companies and Director of Government Relations and Director of Environment for the Canadian Construction Association.
Jeff has also worked for the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada, and several Members of Parliament in the 1990s.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History and a Master of Arts in science politique canadienne from the University of Ottawa. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of A Way Home Canada, the Community Housing Transformation Centre, and Chairs the organization of the Ottawa Pride Run.
He previously served on the Board of Directors of Bruce House, Operation Come Home, President of the Board of Directors of the Centretown Community Health Centre and was previously a candidate for Ottawa City Council.
Debbie Martin
Debbie Martin is the Assistant Vice President and Chief Facilities Officer at McMaster University. She has held this role since the fall of 2018. Debbie has been employed at McMaster for 27 years, and has held various roles during her time with the University.
In her current role, she has responsibility for the facilities of the University, including all construction and renovation projects, maintenance, grounds, custodial, logistics, mail, utilities, space planning, parking and security.
Debbie holds her Bachelor of Commerce and MBA degrees from McMaster as well as both the CGA and CPA designations. She has a deep understanding of the University community, strong communication and leadership skills and the ability to sustain and build partnerships on campus and in the community.
Cliff Youdale
P. EngCliff Youdale P. Eng., is the Chief Development Officer and his staff is responsible for the well-being of OCHC’s $2.7 Billion in building assets. As a professional engineer with over 30 years of experience in both the public and private sector construction industry, Cliff brings a pragmatic and action-oriented approach to this position.
His team of industry professionals have forged a strategic approach to asset management through the development of long-term strategies for the maintenance, repair and replacement of OCHC’s aging stock.
With specific focuses on new construction, capital repair, preventative maintenance and green initiatives, his team delivers comprehensive and proactive programs that will ensure OCHC’s building assets serve tenants well into the future.
Bo Jiang
Bo Jiang is a senior level strategic leader with progressive leadership, engineering, and project management experience in the Greater Calgary region. His experience encompasses private and public sectors; small businesses and large corporations; private firms and publicly traded enterprises.
Bo has had the pleasure of working on some widely recognizable projects including the Calgary Stampede Roundup Centre expansion, development of the Cross Iron Mills mall in Balzac, the Green Line LRT project and now leads the asset management and maintenance department at Calgary Housing Company. A small claim to fame for Bo is a song written about him by JackFM during his time as the Program Manager for the Calgary Downtown CycleTrack pilot project. Although it wasn’t flattering, it was entertaining.
He is a passionate infrastructure builder, whether public or private and commits to driving value for money from a full lifecycle investment perspective. There’s an immense satisfaction of being able to see a vision on paper being translated into reality on the ground and being able to operate and maintain it sustainably.
He holds a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Calgary with a Business specialization and a Masters of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University specializing in Energy and Infrastructure Law.
Travis Wert
Travis Wert spent 23 years with the Royal Canadian Engineers in the Canadian Army, and in 2015 Travis became an Asset Manager with Parks Canada for the Lake Louise Yoho Kootenay (LLYK) Field Unit.
In addition to day to day management of the LLYK portfolio, Travis has been involved in the strategic work to further institutionalize AM processes within the Agency, leading to his current position as Regional Strengthening Investment Readiness (SIR) Coordinator for Alberta.
