Chad Evans

Vice President of Corporate Services - Ontario Northland 

Chad Evans is Ontario Northland’s Vice President of Corporate Services. Chad has spent the past 20 years leading change and continuous improvement in the private and public sector as a business leader, technology and management consultant, trainer and speaker.

As one of the architects of Ontario Northland’s transformation program, Chad has led and enabled the 100+ year old transportation company to adopt modern technology, continuous improvement practices and integrate performance measurement into daily operations.

Under Chad’s leadership, the organization has recently embarked on an Enterprise Asset Management journey to enable evidence based decision making and ensure efficient and effective asset utilization and service delivery.

Chad is active in community improvement in northern Ontario, currently including consecutive terms as Chairperson of
Near North Crime Stoppers. He is certified as an ITIL Expert, ISO20000 Practitioner, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and
holds an MBA from the University of London, England. 

Fortunato Monaco

Fortunato Monaco is Chief of Infrastructure and Engineering at the TTC for the past 2 years + 3 months and has been with the TTC for almost 23 years and has held various management roles from Technical Assistant, Foreperson, Supervisor, Superintendent, Rail- Project Manager, ATC- Deputy Director and Head Subway Infrastructure.

Fortunato's background is in the transit electrical power and distribution field.
Fortunato is a licensed professional electrical engineer and holds an MBA from Schulich School of Business along with a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.

Isabel Piraux

Isabel Piraux is a Senior Director, Real Estate at VIA Rail Canada and manages the Crown Corporation’s real estate portfolio which includes stations, maintenance facilities and offices across Canada.

Ms. Piraux has over 20 years of experience in the industrial and infrastructure sectors, overseeing the planning, engineering, construction as well as the operation and maintenance phases of large-scale projects.

Ms. Piraux has been involved in two major multi-billion-dollar hospital projects executed under Public-Private Partnerships (P3s), for which she acted as a key player in the management of their certification process completion.

Possessing a Bachelor of Engineering, a Master of Construction Engineering (Management Option) and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, she has been a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ) since 1995 and of the Project Management Institute (PMI) since 2005. 

Rodrigo Disegni

Rodrigo, P. Eng, has more than 17 years of experience in Transportation both in the Private and Public sector and is currently the Director of Maintenance and Rehabilitation with the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.

He is responsible for the maintenance and preservation of a large asset base including more than 47,000 km of roads and 2,900 bridges.

He holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Utah and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Victoria. 

Rob Guzzwell

Rob Guzzwell is the Director of Facilities for the Calgary Airport Authority and has over 20 years of experience working in the aviation, renewables and power industries.  He brings a management perspective to operations, electrical systems and power systems reliability.

The effective management of these critical systems is vital to the effective functioning of one of Canada’s most important transportation hubs.
