For almost twenty years, Margaret has been working in the asset management field – first as a utility supervisor and recently as a consultant.    Margaret recently volunteered to assist in the IAM’s self-assessment methodology tool (SAM+) update.  The previous tool was ten years old and in need of a refresh and alignment to updated ISO 55000 standards and AM Anatomy Version 4.  Margaret has used SAM+ for several utility clients and was driven to help improve the tool to be more user friendly.  This presentation will provide an overview of maturity assessment tools and the benefits of performing them, plus outline the recent SAM+ updates including a live demo of the tool.
