An illustration of the long-term value in the context of Total Life Asset Management in line with “Circular Economy” initiatives and government/EU targets. The latter achieved via starting with the “End in Mind” using a systematic approach to the management of how data is indexed and captured day-one. Dan will articulate why it is important to start at the design procurement, construction, and commissioning stages of Built Environment projects so that the accumulated now distilled dataset in tabular and Illustrative format is usable day-one by the FM Operations stakeholders.  The latter stretches right up to providing effective instructions to the decommissioning supervisor at individual asset level.

A “Cradle to Re-Birth” approach to Asset Information Management as it applies to the Built Environment using a combination of “Product Data Templates”, Auto-ID and Handhelds in the field.
