Topic: At the August meeting of the New England Branch on Wednesday 8/18, we will be revisiting a topic from our January meeting and having an informal roundtable discussion with some local electric utilities to see to what degree resilience has influenced the decisions they have made as they progressed along their asset management journeys. 

Electricity is arguably the most important infrastructure we have as other critical infrastructures depend on electricity to operate, and to deliver electricity to customers requires real time balancing of millions of assets all day every day.

That makes resilience an important consideration for electric utilities as their assets are exposed to all types of weather and external disruptions. Join us as we also take time to recognize the largely unseen efforts that goes into keeping our lights on.
