The IAM North West Branch invites you to join our next "Experiences of the Practitioner" session on 22nd Feb where we'll be hosting a discussion on the implementation and use of Asset Strategies.

Asset Management is a strategic discipline designed to help organisations realise value from their physical assets.  Strategic Asset Management Plans and supporting asset strategies are common tools used to shift focus away from ‘managing the assets’ to true asset management. 

However, when it comes to writing an asset strategy experience is key. 

The IAM North West branch is holding an event to bring people from different organisations across the North West and beyond to share experiences as well as tips and tricks.

We will be exploring questions such as:

• How do you avoid ‘shelfware’
• Where do you start?
• How do you go about writing a strategy?
• Who should be involved?

We hope that you'll develop your network and extend the Asset Management community across the North West.

As hosts of the event, the North West Branch representatives aim to create an informal and inclusive atmosphere to encourage contributions from the attendees. As such we would welcome any examples that the attendees would like to share and discuss.
