Panel Discussion: We’re all “Tech People” in Asset Management

This quarter we dive into another discussion of real-life applications overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities in asset management. The theme is simple:  technology. While we all must remind our sponsors and stakeholders that asset management is much more than technology, the undeniable truth is that it has become critical to break down technology expertise silos and upskill our teams to better understand and use technology to advance asset management.

Michael Hanscom of WSP will kick off this topic by walking us through emerging technologies and the biggest opportunities and challenges associated with breaking down knowledge silos. Following the introduction, Michelle Mayer of PANYNJ will lead a panel discussion with four practitioners in diverse roles to glean real-life lessons learned we might all consider and apply. This will be an interactive session, with attendees encouraged to participate and ask questions.
