Jacques Brados

Black & Veatch 

Mr.  Brados is the National Practice Lead for Cybersecurity of Water and Wastewater.  He has over 30 years of technical and managerial experience of providing SCADA and Instrumentation & Controls in water and pharmaceutical. Mr. Brados has designed, implemented and assessed cybersecurity for process control systems in public and private entities.  He was a technical advisor for the AWWA Cybersecurity Risk Assessment Tool.  He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and earned an MBA in Technology Management.  He is a naval Desert Storm veteran.

Ari Elden

Hoch Consulting 

Ari Elden, a Principal Engineer with Hoch Consulting, is a registered Civil Engineer with a diverse background in engineering and construction, and expertise in the assessment and renewal of aging infrastructure.  Mr. Elden is experienced working with utility owners throughout the United States on critical infrastructure, successfully managing high profile and technically complicated projects from concept to completion.  His professional experience includes asset management, technology evaluation and deployment, condition assessment, engineering evaluation, design and construction of new water and wastewater conveyance, pumping, and treatment facilities. He brings a well-rounded and unique perspective as he has worked as a utility owner, general contractor, engineering consultant, and construction manager. Hoch Consulting is a civil engineering firm based in San Diego, CA, focused on providing clients with high-quality, cost-effective and practical engineering, design and management solutions.
