Our Theme this year is...

 “Advancing the Profession - How Asset Management is Meeting the Challenges and Grasping the Opportunities” 

Organisations involved with the UK’s infrastructure and built environment face complex challenges.  At a time when there is an increasing need to drive for net-zero and deliver greater resilience, organisations are grappling with how to recruit, grow and develop the skills they need, how to influence the planning, legislative and regulatory environment to be fit for the future and how to drive value for money for stakeholders and our wider communities.  These pressures demand innovative, collaborative solutions. 

The IAM UK Chapter Conference 2026 will explore how asset management is being used by organisations as a catalyst for change to overcome systemic bottlenecks and deliver long-term, sustainable, and efficient outcomes.  Throughout the conference, we will explore how organisations are: 

• Streamlining Planning: Providing evidence-based insights to support faster, more consistent decision-making and influence the planning, legislative and regulatory environment. 

• Enabling Smarter Investment: Addressing investment challenges by finding ways to reduce costs, address funding gaps and deal with uncertainties 

• Bridging Skills Gaps: Standardising processes and leveraging technology to enhance capability and knowledge sharing. 

• Progressing Net-Zero Goals: Integrating sustainability to deliver greater climate resilience and drive for net-zero. 

• Improving Coordination: Collaborating across sectors and government levels. 

Speakers will be selected from submitted abstracts. A selection panel will ensure chosen abstracts represent a diverse range of views, thought leadership, and best practices creating a unique learning and networking experience for delegates.

Conference ticket prices are listed below.  It is cheaper to join the IAM as a member and attend the conference than to buy a non-member ticket.

What is Included in my Conference Ticket?  

Day one (3 November) of the conference will begin with registration from 08:00, followed by a full day of engaging sessions. The day will conclude with an evening networking reception at 18:00, providing a valuable opportunity for delegates to connect with fellow attendees and industry leaders. Later that evening, attendees are invited to UK Chapter Conference Dinner & UK Chapter Awards 2026.   

On day two (4 November), delegates will participate in a full-day program featuring keynote speakers and the opportunity to choose between two parallel streams:  

Throughout the event, expert speakers from various sectors will share valuable insights, equipping attendees with practical knowledge and actionable strategies to enhance their asset management practices.
