The meeting will start off reviewing the IAM-USA 2024 accomplishments, introduce the chapter committee and the 2025 goals. We will then move into the National Branch Meeting which will provide a Asset Management Case Study from the Port Authority of NY/NJ Chief of EAM Robert Kumapley titled: Lessons Learned from a Multi-Business EAM Implementation.

Case Study Overview:

As transportation agencies face increasing pressures to improve efficiency, reliability, and sustainability, establishing robust Asset Data Standards and Specifications to support data capture and registry management has become essential. This session will explore key insights gained thus far from implementing the ten-year PANYNJ Agency-wide Asset Management Program, which provides a unified data platform for managing diverse assets such as roadways, bridges, tunnels, bus terminals, ports, and aviation facilities. Since its inception in 2016, the program has yielded valuable products and lessons, including:

1. Capturing knowledge and decision-making
2. Organizational knowledge sharing, co-existence and culture
3. Leveraging technology for quick wins and measuring impact & end-user solution adoption
4. Overcoming barriers (operating in silos & century mature culture)
5. Establishing agency-wide standards and specifications that are system (product)-agnostic
6. Building team structures and work groups for successful EAM Program implementation
7. Recommendations for successful EAM career roadmap
8. Real-World Examples and Future Outlook

The case study will be followed by a group discussion and conclude to local branch networking.
