Good asset management requires organisations to understand how their assets and infrastructure systems are interdependent. This is especially important when adapting to climate change and the potential for cascading risks. Systems thinking approaches can help to collaboratively identify risks and the actions necessary to respond.

Please join Justin Brassett and Brendan Bromwich from the Mott MacDonald Systems Thinking team to hear more about how these approaches have been applied for major infrastructure owners such as Transport for London and Heathrow Airport.

Justin Brassett

Justin is a Senior Systems Thinking Consultant at Mott MacDonald and recent winner of the UK IAM NxtGen Award. His recent experience includes applying systems mapping techniques to address complex challenges such as climate resilience and integrated catchment planning. Justin was the project manager and stakeholder engagement lead for both the Transport for London and Heathrow project case studies.

Brendan Bromwich

Dr Brendan Bromwich leads Mott MacDonald’s Systems Thinking discipline. He uses applied systems methods on water, environment, infrastructure and social challenges. Brendan was a project technical lead for both the Transport for London and Heathrow project case studies. His previous roles include leading environmental programmes for the UN and coordinating the Food Water group for King's College London.
