Join us on Tuesday 24 November at 14:00 GMT (UK) for this IAM Webinar - From Data Latency to Digital Twin: Converging GIS, BIM and AI for Smarter Drainage Asset Management with Mr Ali Farouk Ahmed.

This presentation explores how MACE Qatar has transformed the operation and maintenance of Qatar's strategic drainage infrastructure spanning over 3,000 km of pipeline networks and critical treatment facilities, through a pioneering Operational Digital Twin. By converging GIS, BIM, and real-time telemetry within an ISO 55001 and ISO 19650-aligned ecosystem, the Drainage O&M Portal eliminates data latency, closes the "reality gap" between field and office, and shifts the organisation from reactive maintenance to predictive, risk-based decision-making.

The session will share the journey from no GIS in 2020 to AI-driven asset intelligence in 2025, covering the GeoMACE ecosystem, Drone LiDAR reality capture, AI-powered rain simulation for flood mitigation, and the governance framework that maintains the "Golden Thread" of asset information. Attendees will take away practical lessons on BIM-GIS interoperability, digital adoption at scale, and how location intelligence can strengthen asset management practice across any infrastructure portfolio.
