Join Jacqueline Balston and David Jenkins for an IAM webinar introducing IPWEA’s Green Infrastructure Management Manual (GIMM) — a practical guide to embedding green infrastructure (GI) within strategic, asset and financial management planning. This session is free for all to attend.

This session will explore how to integrate GI into asset management policies, strategies, Asset Management Plans (AMPs) and operational plans, using an asset lifecycle approach and a clear framework for developing a Green Infrastructure Asset Management Plan.

The webinar will highlight the breadth of GI covered across land, water and coastal environments, including street trees, green roofs and walls, parks, urban forests, living shorelines and water‑sensitive urban design features. It will also unpack how the manual approaches service provision, co‑benefits, valuation and condition assessment, risk management and long‑term financial planning.

Attendees can expect practical examples, real‑world case studies and tools/templates that can be applied immediately, along with guidance on accessing the free manual and the associated online training pathway and micro‑credential.

For more information on this subject and to view the Manual, please visit the IPWEA Asset Management for Green Infrastructure website here.

This is a virtual webinar. Joining links will be sent to registered attendees closer to the event date.
