National State of the Assets Report: Infrastructure Insights from Australian Local Government
The National State of the Assets Report is Australia's most comprehensive assessment of local government infrastructure assets, providing a valuable snapshot of the condition, performance and sustainability of critical community infrastructure. Drawing on data from councils across the country, the report examines the value and management of roads, bridges, buildings, stormwater systems, parks and other essential public assets.
In this webinar, Steve Verity, Principal Advisor Asset Management at IPWEA Australasia and a lead author of the report, will present the key findings from the latest edition and highlight emerging trends in infrastructure management, investment and long-term asset stewardship.
Attendees will gain practical insights into the challenges facing local governments, the risks associated with ageing infrastructure, and the actions required to maintain asset value, enhance service delivery and support sustainable communities. Whether you are an asset manager, engineer, infrastructure professional or decision-maker, this session will provide valuable perspectives on the future of public infrastructure management.
We invite you to join us on 29 September 2026 at 09:00 BST (08:00 UTC, 04:00 ET, 12:00 GST, 18:00 AEST – Sydney, New South Wales). Simply complete the registration form above and you will be added to the virtual event. Joining instructions will be sent to all registered attendees ahead of the webinar.
If you have any questions or experience any issues with your registration, please contact us at events@theiam.org and a member of the Events Team will be happy to help.
