Severn Trent are hosting a regional IAM UK Chapter, Midlands Branch event. Across the country, our water supply is under increasing pressure from population growth, more demand for water, the effects of climate change and the need to protect fragile ecosystems. Severn Trent Water is developing major Strategic Resource Options (SROs) to secure long-term water supplies and facilitate inter-regional transfers. These multi-billion-pound initiatives include the proposed use of the existing canal network to enable the transfer of raw water and highly treated recycled water from the Midlands to the South East of England. Join us to find out more about this exciting work and how this innovative approach can help respond to the long-term water resource challenges we face.
