In response to recent updates to asset management thinking and standards, the IAM Self-Assessment Methodology has been thoroughly reviewed and updated to provide two new and enhanced tools that are fit for purpose for today and into the future. This webinar will outline the extensive research undertaken to inform the update, the decision-making arrangements, the project team, and the overall development approach. We will also provide a demonstration of SAM2025, showcasing how the new tools can be applied.

Jerry Holdsworth
Jerry Holdsworth is an IAM Fellow, registered AMP, experienced utility professional, and an active IAM volunteers for over 15 years. Jerry served as Project Director for SAM2025, having previously led SAM and SAM+. With nearly 40 years’ experience across asset ownership and consultancy, Jerry is now Owner and Director of Morlan Group Limited, a consultancy specializing in transformational and educational asset management services.
Trevor Taylor
Trevor Taylor has been an active member of the IAM for over 15 years and brings more than 25 years of experience as an asset management practitioner. His career spans work across four continents and multiple industries, where he has led initiatives to enhance asset management practices, improve asset information, and conduct asset management maturity assessments. Trevor served as Technical Lead for SAM, SAM+, and most recently SAM2025. He is currently the regional asset data leader for Network Rail’s Eastern Region, covering a third of the UK's railway from London to the Scottish Borders.
