Call for Volunteers: Value and Benefits Statements

Are you passionate about bridging the gap between asset management and the real value and benefit it delivers? The Institute of Asset Management (IAM) is looking for dedicated volunteers to help us on our journey to develop material that can consistently be used to show the value and benefit of asset management. This project will look at the varying identified value and benefits that can be derived from embedding asset management.  We are aiming to develop different levels of material, from the high-level elevator pitch to collating and summarizing detailed case studies. The project will also explore regional and sector variances.

Volunteering for this project will provide the opportunity to work across regions and sectors, on a subject that would be extremely rewarding and deliver powerful, insightful, material to be used across the IAM by its members and our wider asset management community.   

Key Details

• Project duration: Initial 6-month term from January to June 2026, with the potential for expansion dependent on success and appetite level.
• Commitment: Regular meetings and independent work between meetings

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate Regularly: Engage in regular meetings with a team of like-minded professionals across sectors and geographies.
• Conduct Research: Investigate sources to capture clear evidence of value and benefits from asset management.
• Develop Value and Benefit Evidence: Shape evidence on value and benefits to develop an ‘elevator pitch’ through to detailed level value and benefits statements.

Who is Eligible:

Please note to take up this volunteer opportunity, it is requirement to either be an IAM individual member or an employee of an organization who are a member of the IAM.
