It describes the behaviours, competencies, and decision-making required to motivate people, align activities, and manage assets responsibly. It also explains how governance provides the strategic framework, policies, and accountability needed to support effective asset management.

This guideline is ideal for professionals who lead, influence, or support asset management activities, including those who integrate asset management into organizational strategy, develop policies and plans, apply standards and regulations, foster an asset management culture, manage or maintain physical assets, or support the development of leadership capability in others.
