Using analytical graphs and fewer words, these modern strategies help avoid the tedious writing, editing and review processes associated with traditional, pages-long strategy documents that often fail to move the needle on asset care. Asset Management teams can use visual strategies to quickly identify data-supported improvement recommendations that foster continuous growth, while highlighting the importance of asset data quality across the infrastructure.

Julie DeYoung
Julie manages Tacoma Power’s Shared Services Asset Management team, with a focus on identifying and building the expertise needed to make the best decisions around asset care. She gained an appreciation for the importance of information sharing in prior roles uncovering trends in international web traffic for Expedia, Inc., and analyzing terrorism threats for the United States Air Force. Julie holds an MBA, a Master’s Degree in Data Analytics, and the IAM Diploma, and is certified in both Knowledge and Change Management.
