This course will be delivered across 2 half days at 14:00-18:30 GMT 24 & 25 March 2026.

This workshop will provide an overview of why value is essential in decision-making. Delegates will learn how to identify the value criteria that matter most to their organization and discover how to construct a Value Framework to assess and prioritize projects for maximum value realization.

An interactive session, the ‘Copperleaf Optimisation Game’, will be utilized to provide participants with hands-on experience in applying Value-Based Decision-Making principles to achieve concrete results.

Workshop Objectives

Develop the skills to drive value-based decision-making.
Participants will develop and take away their own high-level Value Framework tailored to their organization.
Provide hands-on exercises and interactive sessions for participants to apply their learning

The concept of value and its importance in asset management decisions
The components and significance of a Value Framework and how it aligns with corporate strategy
The core principles and objectives of Value-Based Decision-Making (VBDM)
