IAM Elections 2021 - Results Announced
We are pleased to announce the results of the 2021 Council and Board of Management Elections. Voting took place until 24 September, and the results were verified and adopted during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Institute of Asset Management, held of 28 September 2021.
Council Elections
There were three nominations for two seats to represent IAM Individual Members on Council. We are pleased to announce that Claire Phelan (Scottish Water) and Shimona Shodipo (BAE Systems) were elected to Council following the counting of the votes.
We are also pleased to announce that under the company byelaws, IAM Board of Management have co-opted Chris Genin (DP World) to continue to serve on Council after his term ended this year. He is also an Individual Member Representative.
There was one nomination for one seat to represent Corporate Members. Therefore Atkins were elected to Council, the seat being taken by employee Richard White.
Board of Management Elections
There was one nomination for one seat available on the IAM Board of Management. Therefore Jim Conlin (Scottish Water) was elected to the IAM Board of Management.
Outgoing Council representatives
We would like to thank the Council members who have stepped down after completing their term representing members. Their contributions have helped shape the IAM and make sure it remains an Institute run for the members, by the members.
We thank Paul Barnfather, Mark Kaney and Gareth Vest for their time on Council and commitment to the IAM.
