TC251/AHG4 Final Report Released

“Asset management and BIM (Building Information Modelling) are supportive approaches, yet often practitioners of one discipline do not recognise the links with the others.

A report from a working group of TC251 (the committee responsible for the ISO 55000 series) was based on the remit:

“Understand guidance related to specification, collection, management, and analysis of data supporting asset management decision-making in the larger context of organizational objectives.”

The final report of this work has now been published by ISO and demonstrates the linkage between the ISO 55000 suite of standards, the ISO 19650 suite of standards and ISO 8000-61. Follow on articles explaining the findings and recommendations will now be developed and published.”
