Tiered Pricing Model: Making Membership Accessible Worldwide
Following feedback from our members and the wider asset management community, we have introduced our tiered pricing membership model, designed to ensure that the cost of IAM membership is fair to professionals worldwide. This strengthens our commitment to advancing the discipline of asset management across our global community and builds on our values.
Understanding the Tiered Pricing Model
Our tiered pricing model offers reduced membership rates to individuals residing in countries classified as middle-income (either upper-middle or lower-middle) and low-income countries, as per the World Bank Classification. This means that professionals from different corners of the globe can now join the IAM and enjoy the benefits of membership at rates that are fair for the country in which they reside.
Tiered Pricing Categories
Tier 1: Professionals from high-income countries pay a membership fee of £140/€165/USD$200.
Tier 2: Professionals from upper-middle or lower-middle income countries pay a membership fee of £81/€96/USD$120.
Tier 3: Professionals from low-income countries pay a membership fee of £54/€64/USD$80.
Tiered pricing is automatically being applied to any existing member renewal.

Joining the IAM using the tiered pricing model is straightforward:
- Determine Eligibility: Review the World Bank Classification to confirm which membership rates apply to the country in which you reside.
- Apply for Membership: Create an account, select the appropriate tiered pricing model option (Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3), and apply.
