Tom Prendergast
A world-renowned transit expert and leader. He is the former MTA Chairman (2013 – 2017) and President of New York City Transit (2008 – 2012), TransLink (2008-2009), and Long Island Rail Road (1994 – 2000), who has also managed and delivered transportation infrastructure and construction megaprojects in the private sector.
Dr. Michael Horodniceanu
As the former President of MTA Capital Construction, he led the largest transit infrastructure construction program in the nation, and the largest subway expansion program in over 60 years, overseeing $18 billion dollars in network expansion for mega projects including East Side Access, Second Avenue Subway, the No. 7 Line Extension, Fulton Center and the MTA Capital Security program.
Craig Stewart
One of the nation’s leading transit capital planning and program development professionals. As the former Senior Director of MTA Capital Programs, he managed the allocation of funding for the $32 billion Capital Program in 2015-2019, and the development of the MTA 20-Year Needs Assessment. He also held leadership roles at New York City Transit where he oversaw high-level strategic initiatives.
Michael Salvato
The former Director and Program Executive for Enterprise Information and Asset Management at the MTA led a transformational program that expanded across all MTA agencies to improve the safety, reliability, lifecycle costs, and resiliency of the New York transportation system. He served as the founding Chair and Vice President of the Institute of Asset Management in the United States and was a member of the US delegation that produced ISO 55000.
