IAM North American Conference 2025 – Day 1 Workshops

As part of this year's IAM North American Conference, we are excited to offer a full-day training course or workshop focused on providing practical knowledge and guidance in asset management. We invite individuals and companies interested in facilitating a workshop to submit their proposals for consideration. Our goal is to provide our members with valuable educational experiences that support their asset management journeys.

The workshop will take place on Tuesday 16 September 2025, which is the day before the main conference agenda begins and will be provided as an additional cost for delegates to attend. The intention is to keep the costs of this workshop low for delegates, so we do not intend to pay workshop providers for the workshop, but we are offering two free delegate places to the full conference.  The conference is being held in Montreal, Canada.

We anticipate a workshop with 15-20 participants, creating an intimate and conducive learning environment that will enable group work and collaboration.

Submissions to provide this workshop should outline the core learning objectives that will be achieved through the workshop. Additionally, please provide an overview of the workshop content and the expected outcomes for participants.  CVs of the people who will be delivering the workshop should also be provided highlighting their asset management skills and capabilities as well as their experience with providing training workshops.  The workshop should focus on the asset management discipline and should not be selling tools or techniques.

This is an excellent opportunity for you or your company to showcase your expertise and offerings to the conference delegates while championing asset management as a professional discipline.

Selection Process:

To avoid conflicts of interest, the IAM Office will arrange an independent review of all submissions and select the most suitable workshop for our conference program.   Please consider how your proposal will support this year’s theme “Living The Asset Management Maturity Journey – From Starting Out to Best Practice “. If your proposal is chosen, we will contact you to discuss further details and logistics for the event. You will also need to submit the full training material to be used for review before we announce the workshop to the potential delegates.
